Inviting your attention to an issue we have in one of our test systems:
Few of our workflows in a test system are triggering email notifications without having RSCONN1 running in background. Previously the triggered emails used to remain in SOST queue awaiting user action to send the message. Since last few days the emails are being triggered immediately, On checking the system I could find that neither SWN_SELSEN or RSCONN1 are scheduled. There are no recent changes made to any of these workflows. Strangely mail generated from other sources (other workflows, ABAP programs) are waiting in SOST as expected. I am at a total loss in identifying the reason behind this behavior. Are there any specific BASIS configs that can cause this? I understand that this can be achieved via code changes but as I mentioned before there are no changes made.
Can anyone give me some pointers in finding the cause behind this?
