Unpegged demand is something for which there is no requirement from the higher level material.
3. What exactly is a planning proposal which is generated by MRP run? Can proposals be generated for products which are available in stock or partially available...does the system allow this?
MRP generates planned orders, purchase requisitions. These are created based on net requirement calculation. It depends on MRP type and strategy group settings.Basically, MRP checks if the demand can be met by existing stock/planning. If not, it creates procurement proposals.
Yes, proposals 'can be' created even if the stock is present.
4. What does it mean to explode an RPM? Why do we need RPM?
