Hi,
We just had this issue and managed to resolve it - hope this helps someone.
Client was 8.8 (all users on Terminal Services) and had several add-ons running (standard SAP add-ons, B1UP, custom add-on etc).
Out of the blue they reported that none of the add-ons were connecting and they were getting the error:
Connection Failed Error: Invalid license server address;make sure the DI configuration file(b1-local-machine.xml) exists and is valid
What we discovered was that an internal IT person had registered the 8.82 di api SAPBobsCom dll on that TS box but not in the normal location. I guess that the system is expecting the xml file in the same location as the registered dll. Once we registered the correct 8.8 dll all connected OK again.
Thanks,
John
