Hello Veera,
before SAP introduced the option to link status change activities and invitaion activities to create rejection status change and rejection letter in one step, the rejection letters were created as simple correspondence activities via workflow which was bound to the activity created workflow event. So you should check if there is one of the old workflows still active.
