You can read the documentation, for this BAdi,  in the Implementation Guide or in the BAdi Definition. 

For the BAdi Definition: execute t-code SE18: BAdi name= QE_SAVE, choose DISPLAY.  Follow menu path: Utilities->Documenation->Display.

For the Implementation guide, the menu path is: t-code SPRO

SAP Customizing Implementation Guide->Quality Management->Environment->Tools->Business Add-ins->Quality Inspection->Business Add-in When Saving Results in Recording.
